John Schnatter loved two things: Pizza and his car. One of them had to go, so he sold the Camaro to buy his first pizza oven. John opened his first Papa John's restaurant in 1985 and he has not looked back since. Papa John's is now the third largest pizza chain in the world with 3200 stores across 29 countries. After all our hard work, it is no surprise to us that we are recognised as the quality leaders amongst national pizza chains.
